John Burlen
Founder, owner and operator of Erie Welding & Mechanical Contractors, Inc., John’s beginnings started as a Local 50 apprentice. After completing the 5 year apprentice program, he continued as a welder and pipe-fitter working for various local mechanical contractors.
Wanting to continue serving Monroe County and beyond, John began Erie Welding as a training school in 1983. In 1987 the company evolved into a full service mechanical contracting company where John performed field work on a daily basis while overseeing day to day operations. His work ethic and nearly half a century of hands-on experience has brought Erie Welding & Mechanical Contractors, Inc., to where it is today. He uses this wisdom to guide the company and his customers know he will work tirelessly to meet their needs.
